This project began with a ten book set of John S .C. Abbott’s
Makers of History once belonging to a Mrs. Florence Hazel Davis Bland.
Her inscriptions and carefully constructed book jackets were the
first sign of her possessive nature. After her death, she
continues to haunt objects in mysterious ways.
